Kerry Donnelly recently returned from a semester abroad in Rome, Italy. She spent four months taking classes in Classical studies as well as an Italian language class. Her favorite place in the whole world is the Classical Antiquity Museum of the Vatican Museums with the Sistine Chapel coming in a close second. Last summer Kerry interned at the College Republican National Committee and assisted the staff with the planning of the 57th Biennial National Convention. The 21-year-old was born and raised in Staten Island, New York where she attended all-girl elementary and high schools and enjoyed playing sports particularly softball and tennis. She will be a senior in the fall at Fordham University in Bronx, NY. In May 2009, Kerry will graduate with degrees in Political Science and Classical Civilizations. She is a member of the Classics Club, Weekend Activities Committee, and the College Republicans’ chapter at Fordham. Kerry is also an avid upland bird hunter, mainly of pheasant. She enjoys participating in the sport with her father and hunting dog every season. Kerry looks forward to running the Classics Club and getting involved in New York City politics during her last year at college. She is extremely excited for the “Where is the Red” road trip this summer but will miss her mother’s home cooking tremendously.
