Christie Jackson was only 8 years old when she last traveled the country. Born in Van Nuys, California, she drove across the United States with her parents, two younger brothers, and two dogs when her family moved to Coatesville, Pennsylvania. She has called Coatesville home ever since.
Now a 22-year-old recent graduate from Clemson University, Christie is very excited about road tripping across the U.S. once again. While pursuing her degree in Communication Studies at Clemson, Christie grew very fond of the southern lifestyle and has a hard time imagining life without sweet tea, barbeque, and football games. At Clemson, Christie kept busy with internships at her local chamber of commerce and a former presidential campaign. Christie was also a member of Gamma Phi Beta.
Growing up in a family full of boys, sports have always been a significant part of her life. Christie started playing softball almost as soon as she could walk and played field hockey through her middle and high school careers. Christie enjoys nothing more than sitting on a beach with a good book and good friends. Christie is especially looking forward to experiencing the variety of traditions and cultures that the “Where is the Red?” crew will encounter on their trip.
